Ahead of the trailer launch of The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, Sidharth Malhotra made a spiritual stop at Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja and Mumbai Cha Raja pandal during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actor was accompanied by the film’s producer, Ektaa Kapoor, as they sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings ahead of the movie’s promotional campaign.
Sidharth Malhotra seeks Bappa’s blessings
Sidharth was spotted arriving at the pandal on Tuesday in a cream-and-red ombre kurta, which he paired with cream trousers. Ektaa complemented the festive setting in a red salwar suit.
The actor was seen walking barefoot as he made his way into the pandal alongside Ektaa. Visuals from their visit show the duo offering prayers before the idol and seeking Bappa’s blessings. They were also seen bowing their heads at the feet of the idol as they prayed.
The visit comes at an important point for the upcoming thriller, with the makers gearing up to unveil its trailer. For Sidharth, the visit added a devotional touch to the film’s pre-release promotions as the team prepares to introduce audiences to the world of The Vvaan.
The Vvaan gears up for September release
Directed as a thriller, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest stars Sidharth opposite Tamannaah Bhatia, with the two leading the film’s cast. The project also features Anup Soni, Shweta Tiwari, Durgesh Kumar, Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul in key roles.
