The final goodbye
Late singer Asha Bhosle’s final feature film song as a playback singer will be unveiled on her birthday, September 8. Titled Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chupi Hai Kahan, the song features in Harish Vyas’s father-son drama-comedy Om Ka Hari. Recorded in late 2023, when Bhosle was in her 90s, the track celebrates life, love, and expressing one’s feelings. “Launching the song on her birthday is intended as a celebration of Ashaji’s timeless voice,” said the filmmaker. The film stars Anshuman Jha, Raghubir Yadav, Soni Razdan, and Ayesha Kapur.

Amitabh Bachchan had a hilarious warning for husbands on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, urging them never to forget their wedding anniversary. Praising a contestant for remembering the date, he said, “Never forget the date of your wedding.” He jokingly cautioned that getting it wrong could mean “joota, chhappal, belan, sab chal padega”. The actor, who has been married to Jaya Bachchan for 53 years, left the audience in splits with his playful marriage advice.
