July is here, a month that promises to be busy for Lisa Mishra. From July 20, the singer will kick off a string of live performances in Mumbai. While acting has opened up a new avenue for creative expression for her, music remains the closest to her heart.
“No matter how much I grow through acting or other creative experiences, the stage will always feel like home to me. There is something special about live performances that gives me an unmatched emotional high,” said the musician and actor.
For Mishra, a show is about more than just performing songs. It is about her experience with the audience, she said. “When I’m on stage sharing that moment with fans in real time, I feel the most alive,” said Mishra, who will soon be seen in Call Me Bae 2.
