Mira Rajput recently appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show What Women Want, where the two discussed motherhood, parenting and family life. She also reflected on the challenges of motherhood and the support she received from her family.
Kareena, Mira on parenting
During their conversation, Kareena Kapoor Khan asked Mira Rajput if she would prefer to approach her parenting arrangement differently, given that she embraced motherhood at 21. To this, she said, “I don’t think so. Regardless of what stage it comes to you, motherhood is a challenge. You and I have had kids at different stages, but I am sure we both have had those challenges. With raising children, feeling overwhelmed, and I think at that time what helped me was that I had Shahid, who was extremely supportive. I had my two sisters, who had already had kids. I didn’t read a single book because I saw them raising children. Of course, it had challenges, but I would not have it any other way.”
Mira also spoke about how she and Shahid divide their responsibilities at home. While Shahid looks after the children’s sports activities and diet, Mira takes care of their homework, birthday parties, classes and general behaviour.
More about Mira and Kareena
Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, recently appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show What Women Want, where the two got candid about relationships, marriage, family life and some of the rumours surrounding their personal lives.
A promo from the episode offered a glimpse of their fun conversation, with Mira addressing speculation about expanding her family with husband Shahid Kapoor. During the conversation, Kareena asked Mira about the silliest rumour she had heard about herself. Responding to the question, Mira revealed that it was the speculation about her and Shahid welcoming a third child.
Reacting to her answer, Kareena playfully said, “You might.” Mira was very quick to put the speculation to rest, responding, “No way, we are done.”
Mira’s appearance on Kareena’s show has also attracted attention because of the latter’s past relationship with Shahid Kapoor. To note, the ex-lovers recently shared a warm hug during the IIFA awards press conference.
For the uninitiated, Kareena and Shahid were once among Bollywood’s most talked-about couples. The two began dating after meeting during the making of Fida in 2004 and went on to work together in films such as Chup Chup Ke, 36 China Town and Jab We Met.
