After the title of Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s upcoming film, The Silent Saviour: Governor, was revealed with a striking poster on Manoj Bajpayee’s birthday, it sparked curiosity around this modern history drama. As excitement for the film continues to build, the makers have dropped a powerful teaser, and it`s exciting as well as eye-opening.

The Silent Saviour: Governor is inspired by true events and brings to light India`s worst economic meltdown of the 1990s. The teaser offers a glimpse into a highly compelling story, featuring the National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee – playing an RBI (Rashtriya Bank of India) Governor, like never seen before.
The production company, Sunsine Pictures, took to its official Instagram account to share the teaser. The caption read: “A nation on the brink of bankruptcy. A battle no one saw coming. And one man who refused to let it fall.”

The film also stars actress Adah Sharma in a pivotal role. The rest of the cast includes Noushad Mohamed, Madhu Sharma and Sand Paritosh in supporting roles.
With hard-hitting and impactful dialogues, this incredible story is presented by Sunshine Pictures. The lyrics are written by Javed Akhtar, and the music of the film is composed by Amit Trivedi

Manoj Bajpayee`s work front
The actor will be seen in director Neeraj Pandey`s film Ghooskhor Pandat.
The film was announced in January as a grand event in Mumbai, but it immediately raked up a huge controversy over its name. An FIR was filed against the show and its makers, and members of the Brahmin community staged protests.
Bajpaaye said the film was “not about any community” and said that the decision by the makers to take down the promotional material of the drama goes to show how seriously they are taking these concerns.
