The groundwater department has directed the Noida DM to act against Migsun Builders for excessive groundwater extraction in Greater Noida. Environmentalist Vikrant Tongad alleged the builder is discharging extracted groundwater into the sewer system, violating the UP Groundwater Act and causing a decline in water levels. Residents and farmers are distressed by the illegal extraction and wastage.
