Veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has strongly reacted to viral fake reports about his death, calling the rumours “not good” and confirming that he is “healthy and happy.” In a video message, the actor urged people not to spread unverified information online and revealed that he plans to file a complaint against those circulating the hoax.

In the clip, Shakti Kapoor spoke directly to viewers in a calm but firm manner, saying, “Hello everyone, the news of my death is completely fake. I am healthy and happy. Please ignore it. I am going to complain about it. But this is not good. That’s not good.”
The actor also expressed concern over how easily misinformation spreads online, especially when it involves serious subjects like a person’s death. He urged people to avoid forwarding unverified information.
Last year, Raza Murad faced a similar ordeal when false reports about his death surfaced online. The actor later filed a complaint at Andheri Police Station after a social media post wrongly claimed that he had passed away. Speaking to ANI, Murad revealed that the post not only spread fake news about his demise but also suggested that despite spending decades in the film industry, no one remembered him.
