Actor Alia Bhatt recently gave a shoutout to her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, as their film Daadi Ki Shaadi hit the screens. Turning their biggest cheerleader, Alia showered praise on the two and asked fans to watch the film in theatres.

On Friday, Alia took to her Instagram Stories to share her review after attending a special screening of the film. The actress shared a few pictures with Neetu and Riddhima, and said the movie left her with a “warm smile.” Praising the film`s story and family moments, Alia wrote, “Left with a warm smile on my face. Twists, turns, and nonstop laughter… woven into a story with so much heart, and the awkward, hilarious, lovable chaos that families are made of.”
She also praised Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni for their performances in the film. Alia tagged them both in her Instagram Story and wrote, “Both of you light up the screen,” while also encouraging her fans to watch the film in theatres.
Earlier, Aamir Khan had also heaped praises on the film, especially Riddhima’s performance, while interacting with paparazzi following a special screening. The actor said, “Bahut badia film banayi hai. Bahut hi khoobsurat family film hai jismein emotions hain, humour hai, hasi bhi aayegi aur aapke dil ko hi chu legi yeh film. Saara actors ne bahut accha kaam kiya hai, Neetu ji ne behtareen kaam kiya hai, Kapil ne lajawab kaam kiya hai. Riddhima ki pehli film hai, bahut badia kaam kiya hai, Ranbir se better kiya hai (They have made a very good film. It’s a beautiful family film filled with emotions, humour and laughter, and it will truly touch your heart. All the actors have done a wonderful job.
