Aamir Khan receives death threat from Bishnoi Gang over love jihad allegations

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been facing a lot of backlash after he tied the knot for the third time with Gauri Spratt. While many had been criticising the actor, accusing him of love jihad, the actor has now allegedly received a threat on social media. The threat came from individuals claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, accusing the actor of promoting ‘love jihad.’

Bishnoi Gang sends death threat to Aamir Khan

The threat post on Facebook, along with an audio clip featuring Arzoo Bishnoi, who is being referred to as a Bishnoi gang member, has also surfaced online in connection with the matter.Β

The post read, “Main Arzoo Bishnoi aur Tyson Bishnoi (Lawrence Bishnoi Group). Hamari sanskriti ke khilaaf hamare desh mein love jihad ke naam par Aamir Khan jaise log is cheez ko badhava de rahe hain. Hum ise bardaasht nahi karenge aur iska jawab bahut jald diya jayega. Yeh hamare Sanatan Dharma aur desh ke khilaaf hai. (I am Aarzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi (Lawrence Bishnoi Group). People like Aamir Khan, who are promoting what we consider to be against our culture in the name of β€˜love jihad’ in our country, will not be tolerated by us. This will be answered very soon. According to us, this goes against Sanatan Dharma and the country).”

“Hamara apne bhai-behenon aur deshvasiyon se vaada hai ki jo bhi is ghatiya harkat ko badhava dega, usko hum apne tareeke se jawab denge. Jo log stardom ke naam par is cheez ko promote kar rahe hain, unki hum saansein daba denge. (We promise our brothers, sisters and fellow citizens that whoever promotes such acts will be answered in our own way. Those who promote such things in the name of stardom, we will crush their arrogance),” the post added.

Police are verifying the authenticity

Meanwhile, according to Telangana Today, the police reportedly said they came to know about the threat through media reports, adding that they are verifying the authenticity of the viral post before taking further action.

Mumbai Police reportedly said so far, neither Aamir Khan nor his team has lodged a complaint. They are currently verifying the information. An investigation will be initiated once a formal complaint is received from Aamir Khan’s side.

Interestingly, Aamir Khan addressed the love jihad claims a few days ago. During a conversation with Rediff, Aamir said, β€œNeither Gauri, Kiran nor Reena converted their religion, as we had civil marriages. Gauri is not even Hindu; she is Christian, and not even a practising Christian at that. Life is getting more comical as time passes.”
