Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently reflected on her journey in Hollywood, admitting that while she has achieved significant success internationally, she does not yet feel her body of work in the West matches the scale and impact of her career in India.

She explained that in India, she had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s most celebrated filmmakers and be part of several memorable projects. In Hollywood, however, she believes she is still building that legacy and has not yet worked with as many of the top creative talents she once did in Bollywood.
The actor emphasized that her Hollywood journey is still evolving. Despite starring in international projects such as Quantico, Citadel, Baywatch, and several feature films, Priyanka feels there is more she wants to accomplish before she can compare both phases of her career on equal footing. She noted that she remains ambitious and is constantly looking for opportunities that challenge her creatively.
Priyanka also reflected on the risks involved in moving to the United States at a stage when she was already an established star in India. Restarting her career in a new industry required stepping out of her comfort zone and proving herself all over again. She has previously described the decision as intimidating, especially because she left behind a successful Bollywood career to explore new possibilities abroad.

During the discussion, the actor spoke about creating a lasting legacy through originality and storytelling that transcends borders. She highlighted the importance of representing diverse voices and using entertainment as a way to connect cultures. As both an actor and producer, Priyanka said she is focused on telling stories that have a global appeal while remaining authentic to their roots.
