Rahul Roy rose to fame overnight after starring in Mahesh Bhatt’s cult classic Aashiqui alongside Anu Aggarwal. However, the fame didn’t translate into good work, and Rahul was seen struggling. He later suffered a brain stroke in 2020, which made his life difficult. Amid this, the actor recently gained limelight after he was spotted making reels with random internet creators. This left netizens shocked. He has now reacted to the reels and given a sharp reply to trolls.

In a statement on Instagram, Rahul Roy wrote, “I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today—they are from before the brain stroke happened.”
Rahul further added, “If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others.”
“And after the brain stroke, it is important for me to stay active. I want to work for as long as I am alive. It keeps my mind active and gives me a sense of purpose and responsibility that I am still working today. Yes, it may hurt a little sometimes, but you cannot break me,” he concluded.
For the unversed, an Instagram user named Dr. Vanita Ghadhage has uploaded a series of reels featuring Rahul Roy, in which the two are seen dancing to his most beloved songs, including Aashiqui tracks and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee. The reels left netizens baffled, as they seemed cringe to them.
