In a recent interview, Rakhi Sawant shared her opinion on Vijay and Trisha`s dating rumours and suggested that they should get married. Rakhi also claimed that she knows Trisha, as they started their struggle together.
Rakhi Sawant says Vijay-Trisha should get married
While speaking to Filmymantra Media, Rakhi was asked about the dating rumours of the Ghilli actors. In her characteristic style, she replied, “I think they should get married. Mujhe lagta hai Vijay aur Trisha ko shaadi kar lene chahiye, aur hum aayenge mehendi mein (I think Vijay and Trisha should get married, and we will go for their mehendi ceremony).”
Further talking about their relationship, Rakhi said, “Trisha aur unki jodi bohot acchi hai”.
She revealed that she has known Trisha since her struggling days in Bollywood. “I know Trisha. Jab hum saath mein struggle kar rahe the (We were struggling together). She was in Bollywood, phir woh South mein shift hogayi (then she shifted to the South industry). So I know Trisha from my childhood.”
Overjoyed at Vijay`s victory in the Tamil Nadu election, she said, “Main personally unko bohot pasand karti hoon. Bohot acche nature ke hai woh. Mera dream tha unke saath ek gaana karna, par kabhi chance hi nahi mila. Ab mujhe lagta hai unki party join karlu.” (He is the first Christian in Tamil Nadu to win so many seats. I personally like him a lot, and it was my dream to do a song with Vijay, but I didn`t get that chance. However, now I feel that I should join his party)
Trisha arrives at Vijay`s house on her birthday
The Tamil Nadu election results were declared on May 4, 2026, which coincided with Trisha`s birthday. Amid the election buzz, Trisha was spotted arriving at Vijay’s residence in Chennai on Monday afternoon.
She was seen smiling as paparazzi stationed outside captured her arrival. The visuals quickly began circulating on social media, drawing the attention of fans amid TVK’s strong performance in the election trends.
While the rumours of them dating have been growing strong for the past few months, neither Vijay nor Trisha has commented on them.
