Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has strongly reacted after a recent confrontation with paparazzi outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital went viral online. The actor, who was earlier seen asking photographers to maintain silence near the hospital premises, later took to social media to express his anger and disappointment over what he described as insensitive behaviour during difficult moments.
Salman Khan warns paps for their insensitive conduct
The controversy began when Salman was spotted outside the hospital and photographers allegedly followed him while continuously calling out his name and trying to click pictures. Videos circulating on social media showed the actor visibly upset as he urged paparazzi members to stop shouting near the medical facility. The actor was seen visibly angry at the paps, however, he politely requested them not to film him while he was leaving the hospital. He also questioned how they would feel if one of their own family members was admitted inside the hospital.
Soon after the incident, Salman shared a series of emotional Instagram posts addressing the matter directly. In his strongly worded messages, the actor said he had always supported the media fraternity and ensured photographers earned their “bread and butter,” but added that exploiting someone’s pain crossed a line. He criticised those attempting to make money from emotionally difficult situations and urged them to show empathy and restraint.
One particular statement from Salman quickly grabbed widespread attention online. The actor wrote, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola,” which translates to, “I may be sixty years old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight.” The remark sparked intense reactions across social media, with fans debating whether the statement reflected frustration, anger, or simply a warning against invading personal space during sensitive situations.

Many social media users came out in support of Salman, arguing that hospitals and funerals should remain private spaces free from aggressive media attention. Discussions on Reddit and other platforms also highlighted growing concerns over paparazzi culture and celebrity privacy in emotionally charged situations.
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming projects, including Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace and another film reportedly directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
