House prices in UK rise in April despite Iran war headwinds: Nationwide

UK house prices have surprised economists by rising for the fourth consecutive month in April. This upward trend continues despite global uncertainties and a dip in consumer confidence. Strong household finances and income growth are supporting the housing market. Nationwide Building Society reported a 0.4% increase in April, with prices now 3.0% higher year-on-year.
