Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has cut water supply to 24 housing societies for non-functional sewage treatment plants and fined 16 complexes for discharging wastewater. The civic body warned of further action against defaulting societies, emphasizing the mandatory installation and operation of STPs for complexes with over 100 flats.
