The Town and Country Planning department has proposed converting over 25,000 sqm of land across Goa, including natural cover and orchard areas, to settlement zones. Nine proposals, cleared by the TCP board, are now open for public objections. Major conversions include a 18,733 sqm plot in Bardez for KGL Realtors and 9,750 sqm in Pernem for IRAP Infra LLP.
